I love the contrast of the dark, crouched figure against the lighter treatment of the soldier...seems to give me a message of help and hope in the scene

This pencil work has become a very moving piece ... I still await the complete work including her trousers,... or is this as complete as you wish it to be ? Fine work. :rose:

Thank you so much Linde. With work, there isn't a great deal of time to draw, but I will finish this piece eventually. And as always, I appreciate your support (almost as much as your moving work :) ).

Yes, I can only imagine how little time you have ... it must be hard.... but the drawings you share with us, here at dA, show that, when you have time, your feeling and skill are developing more and it will be good to see this when it is eventually complete.

Despite all you experience daily, the highs and the lows, I wish you days filled with many reasons to smile. :rose:
